For beginners to start learning the basic chess rules eg. piece names, how they move and capture, some special moves like castling and en-passant, until they can play a whole game with few illegal moves.

主要学习认识棋盘，棋子，每个子力的走法与吃法，包含一些特殊走法，如王车易位（castling）和吃过路兵（en passant），掌握基本走法和规则之后可以升到Rookie班。

For players who have sufficient chess knowledge to play a whole game. Illegal moves should only occur rarely, and are able to perform a checkmate to finish the game.

在基本规则的基础上，继续熟练走法，争取在一盘对局中减少违规走法（illegal move），学会得子及通过将死对方的王取胜(checkmate)。

Suitable for players who are familiar with checkmates, while barely playing illegal moves. There will be round-robin tournaments in the intermediate group to sharpen their skills. Students will be learning tactics and gaining practical experience, and can start joining chess competitions.

通常学生们可以熟练的通过将杀（checkmate）赢棋，几乎不会走违规招法，通过实战对局提高棋艺，参加大循环训练赛，学习基本战术和对弈经验，中级班学员可以适时开始参加比赛。

For players who already have tournament experience and hold a JCL rating under 400. They will spend time learning more complicated theory and skills.

已有参赛经验，拿到JCL积分，对下棋保持一定兴趣，愿意继续投入更多时间学习更复杂的棋理和技巧。

For experienced chess players with rating according to the level. They will have lessons with players who are in the same range to practice and build up each others skills and knowledge. They will also learn opening ideas, positional evaluation and endgame patterns.

已经积累一定比赛经验，根据积分报名，与同等水平的棋手切磋交流，进一步学习开局思路、局面判断及残局定式等。

For elite players who are regularly playing in chess clubs, join adult tournaments and achieved standard rating, who wish to practice more in chess and continue to make progress.

长期参加俱乐部及成人赛事，取得一定胜率，有额外练习，愿意继续精进棋艺。
