Knarik received her title of Women International Master (WIM) in 1999, and followed it with multiple outstanding performances.
She won the Lebanese Men’s Championship in 2005, was the Arab World Women’s Champion for 4 years, placed second at the Francophonic Countries Championship in 2015, and was the Lebanese Women’s Champion for around 10 years.
She studied Computer Science and has also received a teaching diploma. She currently teaches Math and Science at Sabis International School, and has been doing so for 14 years.
She has tutored both groups and individuals in chess since the age of 18.
